Where a plastic pipe penetration through a cored hole in a concrete floor requires fire protection, use retrofit surface mounted fire collars. Also suitable for the fire rating of existing pipe penetrations in multiple level buildings undergoing refurbishment, renovation or upgrade. In addition Retrofit fire collars can be used for pvc pipe & cable in conduit penetrations through Fire rated Plasterboard walls . Anchoring of Retrofit fire collars to the substrate used is fast & easy .

INSTALLATION GUIDE
Before commencing Retrofit collar installation seal the gap to the correct depth/width between the pipe and edge of pipe hole on the underside of the concrete floor or from the front of the wall with fire rated Blazebrake sealant. Refer to sealant instructions for correct use.
1.Concrete floor installation . Unlock metal tab and open up body (dia. A & B). Place body around pipe and reconnect tab. Push body up till feet are flush against underside of concrete floor (dia. C). Use 4 x fire rated anchors to secure fire collar. Ramset™ AnkaScrew™ 5x30mm Hex. Part No. - AS05030H
2. Fire rated Plasterboard Wall installation . Unlock metal tab and open up body (dia. A & B). Place body around pvc pipe or 3x25mm and reconnect tab. Push body along till feet are flush against front of FR Plaster wall (dia.D). Use 4 x 10g x 38mm Bugle head Laminating screws with 6mm steel washers to screw fire collar to wall.
3. Fire rated Plasterboard Wall installation with inside wall steel bracket mount . Refer to detailed installation literature in the technical data section .
