INSTALLATION GUIDE
|
Important : Consult tested applications & fire test data before commencing use. Do not cut or tamper with sealed wraps.
Concrete Floor Slabs 1. Ensure there is adequate annular space between the pipe & the side of the hole to allow the thickness of the pipe wrap to be placed around the pipe. 2. Wrap the pipe wrap around the circumference of the pipe as tightly as possible ensuring any spaces between the wrap & pipe are minimal. Remove paper covering top of adhesive tab and press tab firmly down onto plastic sleeve to hold wrap closed around the pipe. 3.Slide the wrap into position flush with the underside of the concrete floor. 4.Fill the remaining space between the pipe wrap and the surrounding concrete hole with Blazebrake™ Sealant to appropriate depth. 5.Check that the bottom edge of the wrap is exposed and is visible from underneath the floor.
Note : Refer to Brochure "Retrofit fire rated devices for cable & pipe services" in technical data section for installation instructions with illustrations .
