O'Donnell Griffin - the electrical contractor for the 120 room Majestic Roof Garden Hotel - was presented with the challenge to install all the services in the minimal space provided within the ceiling of each room. Each ceiling had to cater for the plumbing, air conditioning, electrical, fire services, data communications and ceiling hangers, all within the confined space. Ramset was requested to provide a solution.

By using the Ramset™ TyMaster™ pole mounted PA tool, O'Donnell Griffin's electricians were able to install fixings to hold up their electrical services direct to the underside of the concrete slab without the need for time-consuming scaffolding. The TyMaster™ allows installation by standing on the ground and utilising the extendable pole connected to the tool to obtain a secure attachment point without interfering with any of the other trades services.

O'Donnell Griffin's tradesmen commented that the tool is compact, light-weight, easy to use, fully automatic and makes it easier to access difficult areas.

The feature of multiple pole extensions has been a time saving advantage, especially when moving from corridors to the car park areas.
