INSTALLATION

Select the correct size masonry drill bit of a suitable length to enable the capsule to be fully seated into the hole, if deeper embedment is required, more that one capsule can be placed in the hole.
  1. Installing threaded studs. A setting tool for installing threaded rod is a simply a “sleeve” that fits over the head of the threaded stud. The setting tool prevents the threads on the stud bolt becoming damaged during installation and also acts as a depth gauge to ensure that the stud bolt will be set to the correct depth (providing the hole is drilled to the correct depth).
  2. Installing rebar. The splashguard is placed over the rebar end closest to the hole flush with the concrete surface to prevent splash back of the capsule components as the rebar is being installed, providing safety for the operator and at the same time protecting the work surface.
