Q: Why do DynaBolts only go to a M12? I need something bigger. What is my alternative?
A: DynaBolts go up to M20 X 160mm.
Q: What products do I need when installing stud bolts?
A: ChemSet Anchor Studs are used in conjunction with Ramset’s range of ChemSet Anchoring adhesives, and hole cleaning accessories. Use Ramset’s Multifit Sieves when anchoring into hollow substrates.
Q: What’s the best product to use to hang a towel rail?
A: This is dependent upon material being fastened into. Ramset offer a range of products for installation into hollow and solid substrates.
Q: If I use 2 x 10kg hollow wall anchors, does that mean I can hang 20kg?
A: No. The weight rating remains the same regardless of how many Hollow Wall Anchors are used.
Q: I need to replace my old tool – if it’s not available, what is the nearest equivalent?

Q: Which nozzle do I use for the injection systems?
A: Always use recommended mixing nozzles for each adhesive. Using the incorrect nozzle will result in improper mixing and poor load resistance. ISNP – Polyester and Epoxy Acrylate ISNE – Pure Epoxy, Epoxy Acrylate and Vinyl Ester

Q: How do I remove a DynaBolt?
A: The DynaBolt is a permanent anchoring solution. To remove, take the nut off and hammer the threaded stud into the drill hole. If the drill hole isn’t long enough, cut the stud off at the surface with a grinder and punch down. Ramset’s WERCS AnkaScrewâ„¢ Screw-In Anchor is a totally removable, medium duty, rotation setting, thread forming anchor, ideal for either temporary or permanent anchoring and is recommended for installations where removal may be required.
Q: Should I use a DynaBolt, TruBolt or AnkaScrew?
A: TruBolts are specifically engineered for high duty anchoring requirements. The WERCS Ankascrew and Dynabolt Plus are medium duty anchors. The AnkaScrew is removable and ideal for either temporary or permanent anchoring, and close to edge fixtures.
